We can’t stop thinking about Halestorm’s huge 2025. This isn’t just another year for Lzzy Hale and the gang; it’s a monumental climb, marking a new chapter with fresh music, massive tours, and a continued reign as one of rock’s most electrifying forces.
“Everest”: A New Summit in Sound
The biggest news from the Halestorm camp is undoubtedly their highly anticipated sixth studio album, “Everest,” set to drop on August 8th, 2025, via Atlantic Records. This isn’t just an album title; it’s a metaphor for the band’s journey and their fearless approach to new sonic territory.
Lzzy Hale herself has described “Everest” as “a story of our journey as a band, full of beautiful endings and new beginnings. “We weave a tangled web of melancholy, frustration, anger, and the vast purgatory of love and love lost. It is a rollercoaster of epic musical detours, great songwriting and completely unhinged twists and turns. Everest is an auditory representation of the 4 pillars of Halestorm. Let us reintroduce ourselves and invite you into our world…if you dare.”
We’ve already gotten a taste of what’s to come with the powerful new single, “Darkness Always Wins,” a track that showcases a darker, more cinematic side of the band, building tension before Lzzy’s vocals explode. Produced by the Grammy-winning Dave Cobb, this album promises to be a deep dive, both lyrically and sonically, into the band’s two-decade climb to the top. Get ready for twelve brand new tracks including “Fallen Star,” “Shiver,” “Broken Doll,” and the album’s title track, “Everest.”
Conquer the World: The “nEVEREST” Global Tour
Halestorm isn’t just releasing an album; they’re launching a full-scale global assault! Their “nEVEREST” global tour is set to take them across continents, proving why they’re one of the hardest-working bands in rock.
The first half of 2025 has already seen them tearing it up across Europe, sharing stages with legends like Iron Maiden. But the summer and fall are where things really ignite, with a massive North American tour alongside Volbeat, hitting arenas from Denver to Los Angeles, Houston to New York, and all points in between throughout July and August.
And mark your calendars, ZROCKers: Halestorm is also set to make a historic appearance supporting Black Sabbath’s final-ever show (“Back to the Beginning”) on July 5th, 2025, in Birmingham, England! Talk about sharing the stage with giants. And don’t miss your chance to see Halestorm back again on ShipRocked.
Then, as autumn rolls around, Halestorm will embark on their own headlining “nEVEREST” tour across North America, bringing along fantastic support from Lindsey Stirling and Apocalyptica for a truly unique touring package. And for their dedicated UK fans, they’ll be back in November for a string of arena dates with Bloodywood and Kelsy Karter & The Heroines.
From festival stages to headlining arenas, 2025 is the year Halestorm isn’t just scaling mountains; they’re showing the world they’re already at the summit. With “Everest” on the horizon and an unrelenting tour schedule, Lzzy, Arejay, Joe, and Josh are proving once again why they’re a force to be reckoned with.
