Megadeth will support the Oklahoma tornado victims by donating proceeds from their July 16 Gigantour concert at Oklahoma City’s Zoo Amphitheatre to Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
“Many amazing bands have come forward to aid Oklahomans since the May tornadoes came and tore apart their homes and lives,” said Dave Mustaine. “Now it’s time for Heavy Metal to give to this community!”
On Monday, July 15 the ASA Hall of Fame Complex will host an All-Star softball game featuring Megadeth and other Gigantour band members, plus local celebrities and more to be announced. 100% of the net proceeds will also benefit Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. The ASA Hall of Fame Stadium is located at 2801 NE 50th Street, Oklahoma City, OK and has generously donated the field for event. Patrons are asked to make a minimum $5.00 donation to come see some heavy metal and local celebrities have fun on the softball field.
