If your headphones aren’t practically smoking yet, you aren’t doing June right. We are officially entering the teeth of the summer concert and festival season, and rock royalty is dropping new music at an absolute breakneck pace. From long-awaited alternative comebacks to blistering heavy rock anthems, our playlists are already stacked.

Here is the heavy gear you need to be blasting this month:
Out Now: Evanescence — Sanctuary
Evanescence fans, the wait is over. The band officially dropped their highly anticipated new record, Sanctuary, on June 5. It is exactly the kind of sweeping, orchestral-meets-heavy-alternative powerhouse fans have been starving for. Expect its massive choruses to start dominating rock radio waves immediately.
On Repeat: The Warning — “EGO”
If you like your hooks with teeth, Mexican rock trio The Warning just handed you your new obsession. Dropping their furious new single “EGO” on June 3, the sisters deliver a track that is sharp, loud, and custom-built for repeat plays on a sweaty summer drive.
Coming June 12: Sublime — Until the Sun Explodes
This is history in the making. For the first time in 30 years, Sublime is dropping a brand-new studio album. Titled Until the Sun Explodes, the record features Jakob Nowell (son of the late, legendary frontman Bradley Nowell) taking over vocal duties. The band proved they still have that signature ska-punk magic during their recent festival runs, and this album is easily one of the most anticipated rock drops of the decade.
Coming June 26: Muse — The WOW! Signal
To close out the month, Muse is set to crash the party on June 26 with The WOW! Signal. Propelled by the early success of their single “Be With You”, the space-rock maestros are teasing an album that is grand, experimental, and heavy enough to rattle stadium floors.
