Vince Neil : Halloween in Houston

Vince Neil live at Verizon Wireless Theatre : October 31, 2004 : Houston, Texas

Vince Neil- vocals

Keri Kelli- guitar

Brent Fitz – drums

Alan Vine – bass

Vince Neil headlined the KLOL Outlaw Masked Ball Halloween night in Houston. Slaughter and Ratt rounded out the bill that also included fantasy sex exhibitions on stage during set changes, though the exhibition prior to Vince’s set was cut short as HPD pulled the plug before things got too racy.

Vince Neil and his band took the stage in Halloween costumes – Vince in his Miller Lite racing outfit (surely a trick or treat surprise for event sponsor Budweiser!), drummer Brent Fitz and guitarist Keri Kelli as masked men, and bassist Alan Vine in full Hooters uniform, including the trademark orange shorts and large orange balloons under the white Hooters shirt.

Vince was in top form tonight, opening with Livewire, Shout at the Devil, and Wildside before being joined center stage by a bevy of beauties for Girls Girls Girls. The set also included Same Ol Situation, Don’t Go Away Mad, Home Sweet Home, Looks That Kill, and Dr. Feelgood. The encore consisted of Teaser and Kickstart My Heart.

Earlier in the day Vince met fans at the Hard Rock Cafe at the ZRock Crue for the Cure Charity Meet and Greet – (click to view meet and greet photos) – 100% of the donations directly benefit the Skylar Neil Memorial Fund and TJ Martell Foundation.

Fans can help support the Skylar Neil Memorial Fund by purchasing Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament t-shirts. Each purchase includes a commemorative Hard Rock Cafe event guest pass. 100% of all proceeds directly benefit the Skylar Neil Memorial Fund and TJ Martell Foundation.

thanx for sharing the piks.

did you take them?

Yes, I took them – it was a great show!

any of you and vince?

check out the last pic of the meet and greet series

Actually the HPD had nothing to do with pulling the show off of the stage.

Thanks for the feedback and comments. The HPD reference was based on the statement made by Outlaw Dave from the stage as to why things were cut short.

just kidding, im glad you got meet vince. – said PAUZED on Nov 11, 2004

Actually the HPD had nothing to do with pulling the show off of the stage. Vince Neils stage manager heard the motley crue song that was being used in the set and had a miniature hissy fit. Rock 101 did not clear the use of that song with Vince first and therefore the act had to be cut short. Great pictures though. – said Gwynifar on Nov 11, 2004
