Eric Clapton joined J.J. Cale for Cale’s entire set at the Crossroads Guitar Festival in Dallas on Saturday, June 5, 2004. Songs featured included Call Me The Breeze , Ride Me High and three more songs written by Cale and covered by Clapton. Cale introduced the first by saying, Here’s a song that both Eric and I have recorded, Cocaine. Other Cale songs covered by Clapton that they played included After Midnight and Travelin Light. This was the very first time the two have performed on stage together in North America.
