Vince Neil poker tournament

Vince Neil hosts the inaugural Off the Strip Texas Hold Em Poker Tournament at Peter Morton’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Friday, November 11, 2005. Benefiting the T. J. Martell Foundation via the Skylar Neil Foundation, this will not be your typical poker tournament, as some of the hottest dancers from Las Vegas wildest clubs will join Vince for what will prove to be a thoroughly entertaining evening! I’m very excited about the tournament, stated Neil. We have kicked this idea around for a while and it just makes sense, since I live in Las Vegas and The Joint is one of my favorite venues. Texas Hold Em is a kick ass game and when you add the girls to the mix it only gets better. I hope my fans will come out and make this a very special night because it is a very special cause to me.

The tournament will be held at The Joint, located inside of Peter Morton’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Seats are limited to the first 150 entrants. There is a $40 entry fee and the buy-in is $500. Immediately following the tournament there will be an awards ceremony and a one-of-a-kind live auction, hosted by a very special emcee. Guest passes will be available to those not playing in the tournament.

Players will vie for an estimated prize pool of $50,000.00. Payouts will go to the final table of ten. With the lovely ladies and Vince to shake things up, this could turn out to be a night of fun first and poker second. Actually, it’s all for a couple of good causes.

Proceeds from the tournament and the auction will benefit the T. J. Martell Foundation via the Skylar Neil Foundation, established in 1995 by Vince to honor his daughter who passed away from stomach cancer. Since that time, Vince’s charitable efforts have helped raise over one million dollars for the T. J. Martell Foundation, a music industry organization dedicated to the innovative life saving research into the treatment of leukemia, cancer and AIDS.

RJ Demman, Vice President of Casino Marketing for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, is credited with the addition of the dancers. We have wanted to use our off the strip location as a tie-in to an event for some time. We are going to make it as close to a strip off event as possible. Vince is the perfect guy to partner with on this one. It’s going to be a fun night. I am sure we are going to sell it out. I look forward to this becoming an annual event at The Joint.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Contact The Joint Box Office at 702-693-5000.
