Rock Concerts – Summer/Fall 2017

bandsintownI think the biggest problem about this site, about rock music now, is that there’s so much diversity. It’s love/hate for me – I like what I wanna hear when I wanna hear it. The genre means so much sometimes it’s hard to dial in what we all agree upon. So instead? Let’s fight about it.

One thing I think we may agree on if we’re gonna get out and party, it’s gotta be a banger. To spend the dough, drive, drink, eat, nurse the headache the next day, blow your ears up? Better be rocking.

Clutch concert tours coming this summer?
Metallica. March 1, 2017 – August 16, 2017
Iron Maiden June 3, 2017 – July 21, 2017

There’s also Neil Diamond, Journey, Elton John, Aerosmith, KISS, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, Def Leppard, RHCP, ok my hands are already tired. You get the picture. So what are you going to see?!?

There’s a rumor this will be the last ‘big one’ for Tom Petty

If you’re into festivals Metallica is a headliner at Outsidelands.

Arguably the best tour going right now is Vans Warped tour.

Whether you’ve been or not, there’s no debating that lineup is solid. Warped Tour has evolved so much over the years same thing – some of us remember the olden times fondly, some of us are bringing our kids and complaining about how much they wanna spend on souvenir shit. Either way…worth it?

What else is on your radar?

I’m an East Coaster so I’m pumped for Revolution Rock at Foxwoods, even if I don’t do festivals that often. It’s a good one.

Summer is going to fly by and there’s already a shitload of buzz and bands pushing out their fall tours. Crazy what’s coming to a city near you.

Rob Zombie, A Perfect Circle, H.I.M. (the farewell) and Mastadon have just announced tours. Hell yea.
