Bon Jovi and Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles duet Who Says You Can’t Go Home, the duet from Bon Jovi’s album, Have a Nice Day, tops the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. This is the first time a rock act has reached Number One on the chart since Billboard began tracking country singles in 1944.
Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles as the main reason the song went on to become the #1 country song this week. Her bigger than life vocals and, infectious screen presence on the Who Says You Can’t Go Home video have made this duet one of the great country events of 2006.
Sugarland’s double platinum debut album, Twice The Speed of Life, includes the hit singles Baby Girl, Something More, and Just Might (Make Me Believe).
