Arch Enemy

Arch Enemy Dead Eyes See No Future EP (Century Media) — This is the new EP that Arch Enemy has unleashed on the public. Usually when EP’s are released, that is usually something the band and / or record label does to tie fans over till the next full length comes out. Usually, these EP’s consist of nothing extremely special, but this EP has some pretty cool stuff on it. Track 1 [Dead Eyes See No Future is a good cut that is taken from the band’s last full length Anthems of Rebellion]! The EP also has 3 live tracks are recorded in Paris, France and have an excellent sound to them, but lack the intensity of actually seeing the band where the function best… in an actual live setting. The band also do 3 covers exclusive to this release. The cover of Megadeth’s Symphony Of Destruction  is done so badly it’s embarrassing. However, the Manowar cover Kill With Power and Carcass cover Incarnated Solvent Abuse], rip with an intensity that only femme fatale Vocalist Angela Gossow and crew can deliver. Top it off with killer artwork and a really cool enhanced portion of the CD with the promo clip for ]We Will Rise and you have a pretty decent stocking stuffer for the Christmas holidays! For Fans O] : Slayer, Kreator, Carcass, In Flames, Nevermore, Shadows Fall Price range: Around 8-9 US Dollars. Decent Price for this package! Rating[: 3 / 5 [ – said Joshua V. on Nov 11, 2004

This E.P. is the best one I have heard this year next to Edguys King of Fools. The big surprise for me was how lame the Megadeth cover is & how good the Manowar cover is. Which took me for a loop, because I have never liked Manowar. The Live tracks are pretty decent quality with probably with little to no overdubbing. Another gem is the Carcass cover, cehck this band out if you’re into melodic death metal! – said sixxswine on Nov 11, 2004
