quotes from mp3.com about the changes:
Quote:
We are working hard on developing a next generation digital music information service that will make it easier than ever to find the music you want online, as well as to discover new artists and keep up with all your current favorites.
Our sister site, CNET Download.com, will be launching new and improved artist services early next year at music.download.com. These services will be free and will expose your music to more people than ever before
To help maintain that connection, and to provide a forum for feedback and comments about the next generation MP3.com, we have set up new message boards which we invite you to visit and use.
It seems their forum has turned into spam central, with over 2500 members signed up in just a few days. The big question is will CNET be able to hold the mp3.com userbase, or will their new forum be the springboard for mass exits to new sources?
