i have been trying to find the name of this band that i heard on z rock back in the late 80's. i think the name of the song is "in the beginning". here are some of the lyrics " in the beginning there was hendrix with purple haze and voodoo chile" the song names several rock bands and plays a riff from each song that is mentioned. surely some old zrocker knows this band. please help and thanks.

Yup this "Old Z-Rocker" knows the answer. the band in question is "Heaven" from Australia and the 10 track album "Bent" that this song "In The Beginning" appeared on was released on Heatsink Records in the early 80's. There are CD's of this on eBay from time to time but they can get a bit expensive. I have this CD and it's actually really good! Twisted Evil
