Wow, I hope this is for real. I was doing a search to find some good internet radio and just found out that zrock has been gone for awhile. I guess I was really out of the loop. I haven't had zrock since sometime in the 80s. I used to tune in via the web for awhile, but then I got on dial up for several years and just got back onto broadband.
My favorite part of Zrock was the fact that you would hear obscure tracks from bands that you knew. You would NEVER hear the top 40 treatment where the same songs would play over and over. I got turned on to a lot of new bands that way through Zrock. Heck, Zrock turned me on to Zep too, I still remember hearing Achilles Last Stand the very first time on Zrock. I was just blown away. The mix of music was always great too, you'd hear Heavy Metal and Classic Rock mixed together and a healthy dose of new music as well. I will take whatever I can get, so if I can only hear Zrock on the internet, then so be it. I already have turned off the radio in my car.
