Lacuna Coil singer Cristina Scabbia is featured in the September 2004 issued of Stuff magazine. Asked if she ever parties like a rock star, Cristina said, "There are parties where you get completely wasted, and the day after, you don’t even remember what you did. In Dallas, Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell drove us to their strip club in a limo as we drank whiskey. It was pretty rock star."
Lacuna Coil is currently touring on Ozzfest and playing select "off-fest" dates with Superjoint Ritual.

The Comalies magic continues : Lacuna Coil has had an extremely successful 2004 as they emerged as this year’s Ozzfest breakthrough artist and watched their latest album, Comalies, break the 150,000 SoundScan mark in the U.S. The group consistently outsold every Ozzfest band (except Slipknot) each week with the oldest release of any second stage act. Even mainstage acts Black Label Society, Superjoint Ritual, and Dimmu Borgir weekly album sales combined were surpassed by Lacuna Coil’s weekly sales alone. All of this coupled with the commercial radio support of their latest ingle, ‘Swamped’ helped the album even crack the coveted Billboard Top 200 chart at #178. Comalies continues to SoundScan a steady 5,000 units per week.
Lacuna Coil was just hailed as one of the “Ten Bands To Watch” by Rolling Stone magazine in their next issue, which hits newsstands on September 23rd. The group’s hit single, ‘Swamped’, is currently featured on the Resident Evil: Apocalypse Soundtrack and the Vampire: Bloodlines video game.
