AMERICAN POPULAR--SOLD OUT (THE AMERICAN WAY)

Little different kind of review for you,American Popular based out of NYC,released the cd Sold Out(The American Way) in 2004,and have been getting lots of radio play around the nation,and starting to get interest in the band overseas..

I have been telling everyone about them,even spoke with people from Spin and Entertainment Weekly at the Motley Crue show on Thursday Feb 17th in Ft.Lauderdale,passing out stickers,and a cd mix of mine that features their song Sold Out(The American Way)..The cd features 11 tracks,but they have released a 3 song demo,featuring MY Therapy,Your Religion,and Sold Out,on IronMar Records NYC and Hellsouth Records.

Hellsouth Records was started by me and J2,who brought the bands cd to my attention! We are in the process of putting together a tour that will start here in Florida,and go to Texas,among other places. Now
back to cd,and the sound of the band,shades of Guns-N-Roses,Stone Temple Pilots,Marilyn Manson,Queensryche,Motley Crue,and Led Zeppelin. They have a very unique acoustic sound,that mixes with a hardrocking beat..

Great melodys,and lead vocalist Lawrence,has amazing way of changing his voice,like Axl Rose did with Guns-N-Roses. American Popular are on their way to something very special,you can relate to the songs,they speak of life after 9-11,and how we now live life on our toes,wondering if there will be another attack,and at the same time wandering why the first two happened...Bringing back that thought-provacative thinking that we got with Queensryche...
