I'm looking for the artist/title of the song that was played on Friday afternoons at 6pm in the early 90's with the lyrics, "I got one thing left say, why don't we just tap the keg."

Someone said this is YBT (Young Black Teenagers) but I don't think so. Sounds like it could be Beastie Boys or Antrax in their metal/rap phase.

Thanks,

Bad Squirrel

Squirrel, I have been wondering about that for YEARS. (!!)

Just came across your post. I tried asking at zrockfm.com
and they said they had no idea. I heard the song on the
car radio in the early 1990s, when I was driving in central
or southeastern (sierra) California, on a road trip. Will
keep trying to find this. Larry

I thought the song was from SGM. That's what they say in the song anyways.

SGM ... oops, I never got that before. I think I had looked at
the other band (who came later) that had the same initials! This SGM
stands for Six Gun Method ... with Johnny Depp (?)

I did find one web page which has some good comments about them,
check this out — http://www.imheavyduty.com/2005/12/25/sgm-aggression

Found some info about a compilation CD that included this song ... wish
I had picked up one several years ago —

It's called "THUD, Sweat & Cheers: The Enigma Metal Compilation" (1988)

And just now I found one used copy (cheap, and looks good) on eBay;
yeah they're out there! Larry

Good info there I never knew what SGM stood for this song has stuck in my head forever and I remember years ago I had found the song and then lost it. My friend who works at a landfill found a SD card that had a bunch of songs on it including Tap The Keg. If you would like this song I'd be more than happy to email it to you the quality isn't the greatest though.
