zrock requests

Man i use to listen to Zrock all the time on WRNO 99.5 In New Orleans La in the late 80s mid 90s , what a great channel it was . I could never tell ya all the request i wanna hear but please dont let the zrock i remember become a new rock type station . Play Tesla , Def Lepp , Crue , Kiss , Jovi , Warrant , Whitesnake. GNR , Firehouse , just to name a few . I remember the zrock 50 and all the bands i had never heard of comin out on zrock .. Southgang , Tyketto , D'Priest , Trixter , Steelheart , just to name a few ...

Whatever u play please include some Lillian AXE !!! Thankss .

OK I like Savatage, Sepultura, Queensryche, Disturbed, Soil, Slipknot, Drowning Pool, Testament, Overkill, Thin Lizzy, Alice Cooper, and tons more; but pleez for the love of all that is good I must say that Kid Reek, POD, Limp Bizkit, Beastie Boys are NOT nor will they EVER be anything but annoying rap-rock poser crap! If I want rap I'll go buy a 50 Cent CD! Phyew, sorry had to vent a bit! Also Pearl Jam, Stained, Creed, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, and their clones are simply whiny "alternative" drivel! NO place for them in the rock world! OK now I'm outta control better stop before I get into trouble!

That one "poster" had a lot of time on his hands.

oh man at the moment i can't get enough of Cold especialy DON'T BELONG, that song is awesome, i think Crossfade ain't too bad, their song COLD is really cool. Linkin Park and their style is really cool, just the fact that it's a sort of nu-metal; their WTH>YOU is good. I am a daily listener of at least 12 hours a day/night. I have absolutely no gripes with the songs played, I would just like to hear the occassional early Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest type music a little bit more often. I can't help but to nod along with 99% of whats played, but Seasons of the Abyss or For Whom the Bell Tolls will come on, and all regard for courtesy disappear as the volume hits that point on the dial just before distortion kicks in. just cause i know zrock bigwigs read this i jus wanted to say thank god for you all.....my little town of pikeville,ky had nothing but country and 90's flashbacks that were overplayed. you guys brought the life back into my radio...thanks a million.... oh yeah play some more alt rock..anything new and unheard...p-ville needs some culture
