Cool I have to say that The Cars are the epitome of pure rock and roll. They are not a genre or subcatagory of Rock. They are just Rock. I saw them in October, 1987 in Norman, Oklahoma. Icehouse opened for them; Another great band from Australia. Listen to "The Walls". When The Cars came on, and for their entire set nobody on stage moved more than a foot and a half in any direction. The light show was amazing. I do not have a favorite Cars album. The first Greatest Hits is all you need. This is my best album, in any music catagory, of all time. Favorite song: "Touch and Go".
