I think they need to stick to the stuff that got them here in the first place, and not try and sound like the little punks who have'nt hit puberty yet.
You guys who are complaining about Metallica have got to be the crazy ones...not Lars. Ok, so maybe he likes control, but that just proves that he has a strong opinion about the band. He complains about Napster, yes, but doesn't he sortof have a right to? He works hard at what he does and wants to get paid for it. I am sure that he is not short on money and probably never will be, but that is not the point. Napster and other places similar to that really are, in a way, stealing from the bands. The way that bands make money is through sold CD's, not downloaded songs. Also, one of you was talking about how his drumming is not good...I would like to know which one of their songs he does not do a great job in? Seriously, Lars is one of the greatest drummers around. And come on, Metallica has been around for so long, give them a break, they are older than most bands and they still kick ass!! A true fan of Metallica would think the same way. Some albums are better than others...just like every single band out there.
OK it's no "..Justice" but everyone should be forced to listen to "The Memory Remains" for perspective on what's truly bad! OK, not really.. hearing Marianne Faithfull cackle La da da da DAH da 1 more time would be torture!
